I think of my Father each and every day.  Today is the 7th anniversary of the day he was taken from this Earth far before his time.  Life has never been the same without him.

Soccer Fundraiser

If you're looking for something to do on Sunday afternoon, head on over to the "Cro" in SSP where Careline's soccer team will be holding a fundraising event from noon to 4 pm.  There'll be a meat raffle, a wine raffle, a small silent auction, face painting, and slices of Bakers Square pie for sale.  Hope to see you there...Careline and her teammates would sure appreciate your support!

View With A Hue

How gorgeous is the view off of our deck of the Bubba Tree and another tree right now?     Unfortunately with the temps due to fall over the weekend and the tendency for gusty winds at this time of the year, most of these leaves will be on the ground before we know it.

Fall Conferences

It seems as though school just started yesterday, but it was already time to go in tonight for Fall Conferences.  The kids Teachers had nothing but nice things to say about Braden and Careline.  It was great to see that they are both still testing out well above the school and state average.

 

For the second year running, Careline was named to the Kaposia Wall of Fame. Way to go Careline!

Another Hockey Season Begins

Buddy laced up the skates for the first time since Spring over the weekend.  He practiced both days this weekend to get ready for next weekends tryouts.  This will be his first year as a Squirt, which means he'll be playing more full sheet of ice games versus neighboring towns.  Let's play Hockey!

Twin Cities 10 Mile

Congratulations to my Sister who completed the Twin Cities 10 Mile this morning in a fine finishing time of 1:28:59.

The Apple Orchard

We took a family trip to Afton Apple Orchard this morning.  We spent three hours at the orchard picking out apples, finding our Halloween pumpkins, playing at the park, and navigating our way through the corn maze.  If you're thinking of heading out to the Apple Orchard this Fall you may want to first take on a second job.  It set us back more than $100 but we all had a fun morning and brought home lots of tasty apples.

I think Pat may have found a chair he likes just as much as his recliner.

Addy found an Addy sized pumpkin.  Let me tell you, she searched the pumpkin patch high and low until she found the exact one she wanted.
