The big kids Fall sports seasons started over the weekend.    The next 5 weekends will be busy as they will be filled with soccer games and baseball double headers.  But when is life ever not busy in the McLaughlin household?

First Day Of Kindergarten

Because this photo makes me smile every time I look at it, I wanted to share one last one from today with you.  That Buddy, he's so darn cute!

 

First Day Of School

The bus now has to make two stops at the McLaughlin residence each weekday morning.  First, to pick up our 6th grade Middle School student Careline and then 45 minutes later to pick up 5th Grade Braden.  It's sure going to be exciting on Thursday when Addy gets to go too.

Getting Squeaky Clean

 

Adeline got extra clean tonight because first thing tomorrow morning she gets to go to school to drop off her school supplies and meet with her Teacher one last time before Kindergarten starts on Thursday. 

In The Nets For SSP....Buddy

Braden is playing in a fun 3 vs 3 hockey league as a warm-up for the upcoming season.  In tonight's absence of the usual SSP goalie, he stepped in to play goal for his first time ever.  Buddy is up for any challenge in life, and to no surprise to myself he played quite well and helped his team earn their first victory of the season.

I hope the win didn't give him any ideas of playing goalie on a permanent basis....we'll leave that to his big cousin Daniel!

State Soccer Shoot Out

CONGRATULATIONS to Adeline who proved over the weekend that she's the 2nd sharpest soccer shooter in the State of Minnesota under the age of 7.  We had a fun weekend up at the Elks Camp in Nisswa to attend the event.  Addy was by far the youngest kid out there, but she did her thing and took home the 2nd place trophy.
