Wall Of Fame Award

Careline came home from school yesterday thrilled to report that she was awarded the Wall of Fame Award.  One female and one male student from each grade will earn the award each month.  This is the very first month that her school is awarding the honor, so it's pretty awesome that Careline received it.  Her photo will be alongside the award near the front entrance of the school for everyone to see as they walk into school.

The End Of The Basketball Season

Careline played in her last basketball game of the season on Saturday.  Thanks Grandma Ginger, Aunie, and Daniel for coming to watch her play!  To celebrate a fun season, she and her teammates are having one last practice tonight and a little end of the year party.  Careline is excited to share these homemade sugar cookies with her friends tonight.

Who Is Calling???

Let me start by saying that Adeline totally cracks me up!

When our phone rings, not only is the caller's name displayed but it is also read aloud by a computer programmed voice.  Tonight when the phone rang, Adeline grabbed it and ran it over to me exclaiming that TOTAL TREE was calling.  It took me a second but gave me a laugh when I figured out what she heard to be TOTAL TREE was in reality TOLL FREE.

Don't answer that one!

Wild Fans

Careline and Pat are at the Wild game tonight.  As if just watching the game wasn't enough excitement, Uncle Tim (who was also at the game) arranged for her to ride on the zamboni in between the 2nd and 3rd period.  Thanks Uncle Tim!

Happy Groundhog Day 2014

Word has it that the Groundhog saw his shadow this morning meaning that we're in for 6 more weeks of Winter.  Can we make it???
