Not to be outshined by his Big Sister, who won the Wall of Fame award a couple of months ago, Braden was recently awarded the honor himself for being a great student at Kaposia.  So proud of these kids!

Thinking Of You Dad

Not a single day goes by when I don't think about my Dad.  Thoughts of Dad are especially present when we all would have been together as a family, like on our recent trip to Ft Myers Beach or today, his birthday.  Miss you Dad.

Legally Blonde

This afternoon Careline and I went to the play Legally Blonde at a local high school.  My friends Daughter Molly held the lead role and I must say she was a-mazing!!!  I was so impressed by her beautiful voice and her stage presence.  I hope she continues to sing and act next year when she heads off to college as she clearly is a very talented young lady.

Addy's "Pretty Flower"

This morning Adeline was so happy to find a pretty yellow flower in our yard.  I'll have to get Daddy out there to spray before we have millions of "pretty flowers".

Parasailing

My daredevil Daughter talked me into parasailing with her yesterday.  The entire time we were up there thoughts of every single thing that could go wrong flashed through my mind; thankfully none of which actually happened.  Careline said the adventure was her favorite part of the trip so far.

Day 1 Of Fun In The Sun

Our first full day in Florida was a fun one.  It was pretty cloudy all day but was nice and warm.  We spent the majority of the day at the pool but ventured out to the beach to collect shells, play in the sand, and dip our toes in to the Gulf.

For Grandma Ginger's birthday, we gave her $1 for every year of her age so she can go get a manicure and pedicure.

Happy Easter

Wishing all of our family and friends a very Happy Easter!  As you can probably tell by how the kids are dressed, we are celebrating this Easter (and Grandma Ginger's birthday) in Florida.  We're looking forward to a fun (and warm) week!

Can You Solve This Puzzle?

I've been a Wheel Watcher my entire life. I consider myself a pretty good puzzle solver as I often solve the puzzle long before the contestant does.  You can imagine how proud I was last night when Buddy shouted out BREEZY DAY just before the buzzer sounded, solving a tough one that the contestant and I couldn't solve.  It almost brought a tear to my eye!

Whenever our freezer is low on meat we just head on down to our favorite Saturday lunch spot (the local VFW), enter the meat raffle, and it seems as though we always walk away winners.  Today we came home with bacon wrapped beef tenderloins and New York strip steaks.  Mmm Mmm Mmm!

Final Indoor Soccer Game Of The Year

Careline played her final game of the session inside West St Paul's soccer dome tonight.  She had tons of fun every Friday night for the past several months playing the sport she so dearly loves and she learned so much playing under Coach Todd.  Outdoor soccer is just around the corner!

Addy's New Bike

Adeline got a new bicycle from Grandma Ellen for her upcoming 4th Birthday.  Since it was nice and sunny this afternoon she took it for a spin around the neighborhood.  I have a feeling that she's going to put a lot of miles on that cute little Huffy this Summer!

NIT Champions

Well, it wasn't the Big Dance...but Congratulations are still in order for our Golden Gopher basketball team who defeated SMU tonight to be named this years NIT Champs.

Robin

While out playing in the yard this afternoon Adeline spotted a Robin and insisted I snap a photo.  I'm glad she asked me to get my camera out (usually I don't need to be asked) because I like the way the Robin looks perched there on the budding tree.  Good call Adeline!

Bowling

Buddy went to his 9 year check-up this afternoon.  As we already knew, he's a happy healthy boy.  He's now 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighs in at 64.5 pounds.

After his appointment we headed to the bowling alley for one quick game (Buddy always enjoys to bowl).

I'm not certain what adventure we'll go on tomorrow.  It's Spring Break here in SSP and Wednesday I'll be staying home with the kids...but we'll certainly find something fun to entertain us .
