No More Training Wheels

Daddy took off Adeline's training wheels tonight, Buddy gave her a few pointers, and off this little girl went (no further instruction needed)!

1st Goal of the Summer

Adeline scored her 1st goal of the season last night and was rightfully so quite proud of herself.

3rd Place

Buddy and teammates played in a tournament in River Falls this weekend.  Nothing like getting in 10 hours of baseball in 2 days.  Let's focus on the fact that they took third place and not pay too much attention to the fact that there were only 4 teams in the tourney.

I really like this next picture.  Pat is one of the Coaches and was telling Buddy to lay down a bunt to start the game.  This kid did exactly that to get on base and soon after scored and started what turned out to be a game in which the Packers 10 runned the opponent.

He is a great pitcher and all around awesome player.

Kindergarten Graduate

His Last Day Of Elementary School

After today, it's off to the Middle School for Buddy and the only McLaughlin child left at Kaposia will be Adeline.  Let's take a trip down memory lane and check out a few pictures of him from his very first day at Kaposia.

Meet Our New Fish

Adeline's Kindergarten class had a pet Beta fish whom she fell in love with and will miss now that school is coming to a close, so we recently took a family trip to PetCo and purchased two Beta fish of  our own.  Meet Vans (as in the brand of shoes) on the left and Blub Blub Fish on the right (Adeline insisted he be named Blub Blub...apparently there's a book with a fish of the same name).  The two are separated by a blue divider wall because Beta Fish are Chinese Fighting Fish and would fight to the death if the wall did not keep them apart.  Adeline is taking very good care of them (so far, at least) and is giving each of them just one tiny piece of fish food twice per day.
