A Visit To Mary Jane's New Place

Earlier this year, Pat's Aunt moved in to an apartment in a highrise out in Edina.  On Friday night she had us over to check out her new home and for a good dinner.  It looks like a nice place to call home Mary Jane...thanks for having us over!

One Handsome Dude

Braden cleaned up quite nicely for last nights band performance.  The 5th graders put on a great final concert of the year.  They've come a long way this first year of playing their instruments.  The saxophone section belted out the tunes confidently and relatively squeak free.  He has really taken a liking to music and asked to take piano lessons this Summer, which I quickly agreed to and signed him up for.

Soccer

Adeline played her second game of the season last night.  She's still looking for her first goal of the Summer, but she's playing well and having fun.

Out With The Old In With The New

Thanks to our neighbor Jeff, who over the weekend took down the 4 dilapidated mailboxes in our yard and replaced them with nice new matching boxes.  Pat and I are hoping to find a free moment soon to landscape a little area around it, but it's already classed up the place.

The Pink Palace

This birdy set up shop in my flowering crabapple tree and is patiently awaiting (except when a human gets too close) the arrival of her babes.

May Day

How cute is this?!  The neighbor kids dressed up and surprised us with a May Day basket.
